A healthy planet is not a preference, but an imperative

2 min. read

Earth Day has been celebrated for 54 years on 22 April and is intended for all of Earth’s inhabitants. This year’s theme is Planet vs. Plastics, calling for a swift action to reduce the amount of plastics, increase awareness about the health hazards of plastics and discontinuing disposable items made from this material. More than one billion people all over the world are involved in various activities to mark the Global Earth Day. Whether or not the Earth will be restored depends on each of us. A healthy planet is not a preference, but an imperative.
